History
Medical Graphics Corporation was founded in 1977 by Catherine A. Anderson,
a medical technologist, who was the first to introduce computerized
diagnostics to lung function testing. In her position as supervisor
at the University of Minnesota's cardiopulmonary lab, she saw a need
to improve lung function testing for both the patient and the physician. Over
the past 30 years, Medical Graphics Corporation's products have evolved
into a complete line of diagnostic systems including both software
and proprietary physiologic transducers and analyzers sold under the
trade name MEDGRAPHICS.
This technology is used around the world in hospitals, clinics, and
universities to diagnose, treat, and prevent heart and lung disease. Medical
Graphics has grown from a graphical software designer to an innovator
in complete cardiorespiratory diagnostic systems. Medical Graphics
holds more than 20 patents on various technologies used in their
cardio-respiratory diagnostic systems.
